❧ I used to think that finding the right one was about the man having a list of certain qualities. If he has them, we'd be compatible and happy. Sort of a checkmark system that was a complete failure. But I found out that a healthy relationship isn't so much about sense of humor or intelligence or attractive. It's about avoiding partners with harmful traits and personality types. And then it's about being with a good person. A good person on his own, and a good person with you. Where the space between you feels uncomplicated and happy. A good relationship is where things just work. They work because, whatever the list of qualities, you happen to be really, really good together. ❧ En temps normal, je ne l'aurais même pas calculé, j'aurais fait comme j'ai toujours fait avec les gens qui ne sont que de passage : l'ignorer. Sauf qu'elle, être simplement de passage n'était pas son intention. Alors impossible pour moi de l'ignorer constamment. A peine majeure et voilà qu'elle croit qu'elle va devenir quelqu'un. Qu'elle garde donc ses ambitions de grandeur pour elle-même car ce n'est pas dans les Montagnes Bleues qu'elle se réalisera. Moi médisante ? Oui et je le vis bien. Ilhy est le condensé de tout - ou presque tout- ce qui me hérisse le poil. Le simple fait qu'elle soit des Monts de Fer a éveillé ma méfiance, même cet air constamment peint sur son visage m'agace. Je reconnais qu'elle ne m'a jamais rien fait, mais c'est plus fort que moi, elle ne me revient pas. Peut être que je me trompe sur son compte, que mes aprioris sont erronés...Sauf que pour l'instant je m'en fiche. Je n'ai aucun remord à la prendre de haut et me montrer froide. Tu veux grandir Petite ? Tu veux savoir ce que c'est que de ne pas être chouchouté par ta famille ? Tu n'aurais pas pu mieux tomber. Et accroche-toi si durant les entraînements des soldats tu tombes avec moi...C'est sur mes plates bandes que tu marches et ne compte pas sur moi pour me montrer conciliante.
